The audit is a reflective tool designed to help you notice when “shoulds” are taking over and explore your “coulds” instead. It’s simple and works for both life and business.

Step 1: Notice Your Shoulds

Ask yourself, Where do I feel like I should do something?

  1. Which tasks or expectations feel obligatory rather than energising
  2. Where am I following someone else’s rule or example instead of my own instincts?

Step 2: Explore Your Coulds

Next, consider the alternatives:

  1. What could I do instead that aligns with my energy, priorities, and values?
  2. Which choice excites me, motivates me, or feels authentic?
  3. How might doing the could instead change my experience or outcomes?

Step 3: Reflect on Impact

  1. Which shoulds are keeping you stuck?
  2. Which coulds would bring growth, clarity, or satisfaction?
  3. What’s the smallest actionable step you could take this week to prioritise a could over a should?
